Love all, trust a “few” πŸ™Š

I came across this quote as I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, and I believe it’s true. Most people who know me know that I give my love out to everyone and everything. While I do in fact give out my love unconditionally, I’ve come to learn that I must be careful as to who I add to my circle of “trusted members”. There are those whom I love, and there are those whom I love and “trust” – that’s a BIG difference. No matter how pure and sincere your intentions are, you can’t guarantee that the receiving-end has the same in store for you. I’m not saying you should not keep an open heart and mind – by all means, express your kindness andΒ character openly! – but keep your board of trustees small and tight. If you give the keys to your heart to a handful of genuine souls you know you can rely on, I can guarantee you you’ll live a drama-free life with more time and energy to work on the one thing that matters the most – you.
